Swing into summer with some fun dog training!

Do you want to have a well behaved dog that you can take to public places? Do you want to have a dog that society doesn’t mind being around? Do you want a dog that is well engaged with you and responds to your requests? Then a canine good citizen group training class is the class for you!

Sponsored by the American Kennel Club (AKC) the Canine Good Citizen (CGC) class is the perfect foundation for training your dog to be a polite member of society. This is a skills training program open to dogs of all ages. We will be focusing on life skills, manners in public, instilling the values of responsible dog ownership, and strengthening your bond with your dog. This is a fun class using positive reinforcement training methods. We meet each dog and handler where they are, so no prior experience is required.

What can you expect from this class?

Learning skills to apply to real life such as:

  • Accepting a friendly stranger
  • Sitting politely for petting
  • Behavior during grooming
  • Walking nicely on a leash
  • Walking through a crowd of people
