Agility Coaching at
A Dog Sports
Build your dog’s confidence, speed, and focus with fun, positive agility coaching designed for people wanting a stronger bond through team work… from total beginners to competition-ready dogs.

What’s Included in Agility Coaching
Group classes are small in size maximum of 6 dog handler teams so that I can provide tailored guidance, clear feedback, and time to practice on individual skills. Group classes are broken into skills and course work, we alternate depending on the lesson plans I have prepared.
- Classes are 1 hour in length and meet one night a week, held outdoors on a lovely manicured private field with competition contacts, tunnels and a variety of jumps (winged and non-winged).
Agility Class Schedule
We offer a mix of one-on-one coaching and small group classes so you can choose the format that works best for you and your dog. One-on-one is limited due to my schedule remaining full and needs to be scheduled in advanced. Coaching is available both in person at our training field and online for teams who prefer to train from home.
- Private coaching: Offered via appointment only.
- Weekly group classes:
Monday mornings 2 classes (masters, open/novice)
Tuesday evenings 2 classes (novice/masters)
Wednesday evenings (open)
Not sure where you and your dog fit best? We’ll chat about your goals and experience and recommend the right class or coaching plan.

Foundation Classes & Waitlist
Our foundation agility classes are where new teams start & they are very popular. We focus on relationship, motivation, and safe, age-appropriate exposure to equipment so your dog learns to love the game from the very beginning.
Because these classes are highly hands-on and we keep numbers small, they are only offered a limited number of times throughout the year. As a result, we maintain an ongoing waitlist for new foundation classes.
When you join the waitlist, we’ll ask a few quick questions about your dog and your goals. You’ll receive early notice when new foundation series dates open, along with recommendations for one-on-one coaching or online options you can start right away.

Drop-In Options
Already training regularly and want a little extra ring time or coaching on a specific skill? We offer drop-in spots in select existing classes when space allows.
- Drop-ins are available for appropriate-level teams only.
- Spaces are limited and must be scheduled in advance.
- Contact us to see which upcoming classes have room for a drop-in visit.
To request a drop-in spot, reach out with your dog’s experience level and what you’d like to work on, and we’ll match you with the best class and date.
